Figuring Shop Overhead

The shop management software includes a Profit Wizard (F12) to see at a glance how your shop's profit picture looks on the particular order being viewed. We know there are other factors beyond part, labor or sublet cost, so a couple additional fields are provided to enter overhead costs. This will allow the pie chart to be more accurate in terms of reflecting total costs.

It is recommended that shop owners consult with their accountants to annualize these other costs (utilities, lease payments, equipment, etc) and estimate how many invoices are likely to be written in a year's time. This should result in percentages that can be assigned to each invoice by way of these Setup - Standard Tables fields.
