Napa catalog and OneCare Anti-Virus software
NAPA CATALOG AND WINDOWS ONECARE ISSUE

For the past 7 months or so it has taken 1-2 mins to connect to my local Napa store to order parts. This was very frustrating especially when I get 6 - 10 estimates in an hour to complete. The problem was in my Windows OneCare virus software. I had to tell it to not check the Mitchell Program. After making this adjustment all is good.
To fix this do the following:
- Open OneCare
- Click Change Settings
- Click Viruses and Spyware
- Click Exclusions (Near the bottom)
- Click Add Folder
- Locate the Mitchell 1 folder and select it
After doing this you will see drastic performance improvements. It now takes less than 2 seconds to check/lookup parts using the Napa Catalog. Hopefully this saves somebody some frustration.
